Sapp-Trapp Stillness is an Illness Podcast

The Sapp–Trapp Stillness Is an Illness Podcast is more than a show—it’s the voice of a movement.

Founded by Patrick Sapp, James Trapp, Dan Watson, and Brian Moss, Stillness Is an Illness (SIAI) is a wellness-based platform designed to prevent chronic illness by promoting proactive, holistic health. Built on the philosophy that motion is medicine, SIAI empowers people to move with purpose—physically, mentally, and spiritually.

As former Clemson football legends and NFL players, Patrick Sapp and James Trapp bring the mindset of elite athletics and leadership at the highest level. Alongside community leaders Dan Watson and Brian Moss, they’ve built a mission that blends movement, mentorship, and mindset with service to others.

At the core is PADL247—Positive Activities of Daily Living. PADL247 is more than fitness—it’s a lifestyle. Through practices like the 15-5 to Stay Alive method (15 reps of 5 exercises spread throughout the day), SIAI proves how even small, intentional actions add up to life-changing momentum.

The podcast is filmed and recorded live at the tailgates just outside Clemson’s stadium, capturing the energy, spirit, and tradition of Clemson football. Guests will include former and current Clemson/NFL players, as well as other influential figures associated with Clemson football, offering insider perspectives, stories, and lessons from the game and beyond.

But SIAI goes beyond personal health. We believe real change starts locally. That’s why we partner with grassroots organizations, schools, nonprofits, and businesses to elevate youth voices, support community initiatives, and make movement contagious. From live events and creative collaborations to service projects and strategic alliances, SIAI is committed to building healthier communities—24/7.

Each episode dives into this philosophy: conversations that challenge the status quo, stories that inspire growth, and strategies that help you live with clarity, resilience, and purpose.

This is more than content—it’s a call to action.
Join the movement. PADL247 with us.

In Episode 9 of the Sapp–Trapp Stillness Is an Illness Podcast, hosts Patrick Sapp, James Trapp, and Brian Moss welcome a remarkable guest — Sarah, a die-hard fan (of Syracuse) and a leukemia survivor.
